SMB fix mountain lion

seems to be a problem for SSD users only
took me 3 weeks to fix sharing to windows boxes
use SMBup a great samba installer
turn off all mac file sharing , use smbup to create shares
if still problems after reboot,
change permissions to edit smb.conf
add
workgroup=workgroup , to Global section

This has been a long time pain in the butt with Mountain Lion and there are many threads about it on the apple support forums.

I only hope they fix this in 10.8.3 otherwise Im on Snow Leopard even longer

Hy muskokans,

can you tell me how you get SMBUp to work?

I have installed SMBUp on 10.8.3 without any errors. After that i opened the program and setup a shared folder. SMB in OSX Settings is disabled but AFP is enabled. When i try to manage the users i gat tis error message from SMBUp:

An exception of class KeyNotFoundException was not handled. The application must shut down.

So i can see the folder on my Windows 7 machine but i can not access it. Windows is giving the error message that i have no permissions.

Would be nice if you could help me.
