So sorry about the very late reply.
The Antec mini case does come with 110 watt external power supply.
I use VLC and everything plays beautifully including blueray

In my personal opinion, I think I could fit a mini itx motherboard in a Mac mini, with integrated i7 graphics.
Power supply? I'd probably make one for a smaller version.
