Slow performance overall while copying files

Hi guys.

I've noticed the computer gets slower when there is a HD activity.

I get slower performance overall (surfing the web,etc) while copying and downloading

Have you run GeekBench or XBench so you can get an actual measure of performance?

How long has your build been running and is the slowing down a new phenomenon or been there from the start? Is it getting worse or always the been the same?

The more details about what drives you are using, their capacity and amount of data on them, what ports they are connected to, how your computer is configured, what you have tried too solve the problem, the easier to try to diagnose.

Geekbench is very closer.. sounds strange

I feel less responsive to scroll pages in safari... for typing...

I have the same problem :( :banghead:
 
I still having this problem... but it is not too slow after change the extra folder / dsdt

I guess its a problem with HPET stuff in the dsdt..
 
Did you changed only DSDT.aml in /Extra folder or you changed som kexts too?
 
NIce!!! How about the HD speed?
Did you use any benchmark tool to measure drivewrite times?

PS: How do,i get to previous state in Beamsync?
