Slow performance after wake from sleep - clock stops!

High Sierra 10.13.3
i3 7100 Kaby Lake
Asrock H170M Pro 4
Gigabyte Radeon RX 560 Gaming OC 2G (Display Port)
SSD

Wakes from sleep but performance is impossibly slow. Mouse is responsive but menus are slow. Minimising windows is not smooth. The clock does not update at all. Intel Power Gadget says NaN instead of showing proper values.

config.plist and ioreg attached.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

@mk2012a, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard (Mobo), CPU and Graphics Card.

Profiles need to contain at least your primary system to assist others with helping you.

Same problem here.

Setup is in my profile, and macOS version is 10.13.6.

I think it was OK when it was 10.12, even though sleep/wake worked just once (basically unusable).

Now, it wakes up but it's slow/laggy and Intel Power Gadget shows 4.0GHz <-> 0.8GHz <-> NaN repeatedly.
Native Skylake power management applied, USB custom fix SSDT applied.

I highly suspect my motherboard isn't compatible with macOS sleep/wake..

For the sake of records, after disabling 'Add ClockID' in clover the stuttering after wake is gone.
However, once again now sleep/wake works just once..
First sleep: wakes up normal
Second sleep: spontaneous wake right after sleep, but works without error.
Third: sleeps, but kernel panic and reboot on wake.
Wake reason is always XDCI.
so sad!

You are doing it wrong, follow the instructions.

Warning: Do not copy the kext to: /System/Library/Extensions or /Library/Extensions and do not inject it with help of the boot loader!
