Slightly overclocking i7-3770 ok?

I just started working with an i7-3770 (non-K) system today, and indeed the BIOS is giving me the option to increase the turbo ratios up to 43. Once I get the system up and running (a job for tomorrow) I'll have a little play and see what HWMonitor says.
Unfortunately that machine is using the stock Intel cooler so I shouldn't push it too far.

Quite unexpected!

EDIT: further discussion of my findings is in this thread.

Yesterday, looking deeper in my Z77 Pro4-M BIOS, I found out there's an OC tweak for i7 or i5 "non-K" version.
After turning it on, I rebooted my G5 and CPU-Z is displaying that CPU frequency : 4300 Mhz (peaks, in boost mode I suppose)

I have i7 3770 (without "k") on ga z77x up5 th motherboard.

I'd like to help you for your idea mon'!

What I did:

1. Disabled EIST in BIOS (in advanced CPU features).
2. Set turbo ratio for my i7 3770 to maximum allowed values (4.3, 4.3, 4.2, 4.1)
3. Trashed my SSDT.aml file from /Extra
4. It just works on 10.8.5. I have >15.5k GeekBench from previous 14.8k.
5. I started simultanous C++ code compilation (-j8) and endless scala project compilation as load test. The highest tempeature I noticed was 86°C which isn't bad under load I did.

And here's some shot from System Profiler as a proof:
