[Solved?] Sleep works :) Wake doesn't :(

I know I must not be the only one with this problem, because searching has brought up similar threads in the past that have no responses or no real solution. So I suppose at best this is a check to see if one exists now.

I can use sleep just fine, and if I wake the computer up within a few minutes it wakes successfully. But if I go a lengthier time (hours) then I will never get any video picture. I don't think this is the old infamous 'fermi freeze', because I don't get a garbled screen. I get no signal at all.

Build:
Intel 3700
ASUS Z77 (flashed with custom BIOS)
Galaxy GTX 460 768MB (NVidia CUDA driver, MultiBeast patch installed, though the problem existed w/o it)
GraphicsEnabler=Yes (not sure if this is relevant)

Hi, your not alone, i've the same problem.
The one way i've is a message in the syslog
"Feb 18 23:28:30 mac-pro-de-kizz kernel[0] <Debug>: NVDA(OpenGL): Channel timeout!Feb 18 23:28:50 mac-pro-de-kizz kernel[0] <Debug>: NVDA(Display): Channel timeout!"

Try to get your log after sleep issue, if you know share you resources percent usage (CPU, memory ...).

I've change my sleep policy, so network won't bring up my mac, maybe it change something but i don't believe.

Hi, your not alone, i've the same problem.
Just an update: I think I've solved my problem! At the system selector, I booted with this custom flag:

darkwake=1

...I just woke the machine up after a full night in bed and the screen popped on immediately. This is a small sample size of just one experience so far but I thought I would pass it on.
