Hi

I have installed Mac OS Catalina 10.15.3 on:

Dell Optiplex 7020 SFF
Nvidia GT710 2GB
16GB Ram
500GB Sasung SSD

Everything seems to work fine except Sleep/Wake. It will go to sleep, but unable to wake screen
Monitor = No signal but Fans running normally
I have to do HARD RESET

I am getting this error:

Sleep Wake failure in EFI Failure code:: 0xffffffff 0x0000001f
(Failure during sleep: 0xFFFFFFFF0000001F : EFI/Bootrom Failure after last point of entry to sleep)

I have been trying to solve this problem for days without success :banghead:
Any idea what the problem is???
Please help!

Update: SOLVED

I have been trying for days to figure it out. I have tried different kexts, fixes and different bios settings but no luck.
After trial and error I have found the problem.
It was in bios settings

Advanced Bios Option> √ Enable Legacy Option ROMs (enabled)
Serial port> disabled

I don't know why the Legacy Option ROMs has to be enabled
Now this Hackintosh is working (not everything)
Audio is not working (I am using a bluetooth speaker)

Video files (YouTube) won't play unless the audio is on. I don't know why, any idea?

After I have updated my Mbp 16" to 10.15.3 I got these errors too. I am also having freezes in battery mode while not being in sleep mode, and the crashes are also logged as sleek wake failure. It just started after I updated it and its an original Apple product. It probably has nothing to do with you setting it up wrong.

Thank you for your reply.

I think I have fixed it, I have deleted AppleALC.kext from L/E & from /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other

The problem is back, I am not sure why

Also I have selected ACPI>SlpSmiAtWake & FixS3D in config.plist
but I am not sure if this helped.

Sleep wake now works but no audio, If I use WoodooHDA.kext in L/E Hackintosh won't boot.
Is it a good idea to delete AppleALC.kext??? Does deleting this effect something else?
(I can use USB External Sound Card Audio Adaptor.)

I updated my mbp to 10.15.4 Beta and now I have no issues. So revert it to the last fully working state and install the beta ;)

I have the same problem, but no setting in my BIOS like the OP.

Yep I have completely the same error message as OP.
That has driver me searching for three days.

I tried to set standby, proximatywake, Powernap, hibernatemode to 0, and deleted sleepimage then mkdir the same name.

All No use.

My Bios doesn't have that settings about Serial port, Wakeup Lan, or Enable Legacy Option ROMs.

My AppleALC and Intel core graphics HD520 works normal.
