So now most 68xx cards seem to be getting along with 10.6.7. quite well, problems occur from people not being able to put their hackintosh in sleep anymore.

Since i replaced my 5770 with the 6870, i also can't seem to get sleep running.
My guess is maybe it's something with the early 6xxx series drivers, included in 10.6.7.

Maybe someone could put me in the right direction?

No sleep on my system either(Powercolor 6870), Using same method as you.

On my rig it works.
Maybe it has more to do with the mainboard than videocard?
Running 10.6.7.

But clean install.
Had major problems installing though. Could not install with R6870 card in system. Used an old 8800GT to install, then multibeast. Shutdown, switch cards and reboot.

Very curious if you guys did a clean install with these cards in, and how.
I used iboot 2.7 and SL retail dvd.

I did that before, when i still had my 5770, then switched cards, afterwards Sleep= No go.

Damn, sleep just is very handy when you have a lot of things open and want to return where you left the next day.

Got it working!

1. Download the latest 10.6.7. SleepEnabler here and put it in /Extra/Extensions
2. Edit your com.apple.Boot.plist(in /Extra) and make sure you have the following lines in it:
Code:
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>pmVersion=23</string>
<key>arch</key>
<string>x86_64</string>
3. Reboot
4. Waky waky, rise and shine!
