I did optimized defaults plus changed the following settings
Serial port - disabled
CSM - disabled
XHCI - enabled
Fastboot disabled
Secure boot - disabled
OS type - Other OS
USB legacy - disabled
CFG lock - disabled
VT-d disabled
Also only using the integrated graphics not usiang a graphics card. I get to the boot loader and it crashes. can you attach your efi so i can try that instead of the one i have?

i just used the standard UniBeast installer, so make that and see how it goes.

Your settings look the same asmine, except i have VT-D enabled.

If you haven't used UniBeast to make the USB try that and see if it works.

Oh, I also updated the BIOS on mine to the latest version so make sure you do that.

Ok what port are you using the stick in? make sure its a USB 2 port

which file did you want from the efi drive?

Just to be clear on the USB, I'm using the rear USB 2.0 port on the ASUS Z170-K. On my other build when making the USB, Unibeast seems to see the USB as an internal drive but OSX shows it as removable so Unibeast refuses to install to it, but i have used the createinstall media script without issues, very strange behaviour....

Ok I was using a USB 2 port that connect to the USB 2 motherboard header, maybe try that?

EFI.
