I'm wondering if the ASUS Q170T/CSM motherboard is able to run el capitan hackintosh. i don't see anywhere else where someone has tried it. What do you guys think?

I have experience building hackintoshes but I'm switching over to thin mini-itx that has DC plug-in power.

Other Components:
i5-6600k (integrated graphics)
8gb ddr4
4tb hdd 7200rpm
no dedicated graphics card yet

As always, Thanks for your help!

Looks almost like a Z-170 setup without the overclocking. Let us know if you get it to work.

Any update?

Ok, Sierra USB Flash booted fine.. in comparision with EL Capitan, probably newest kernel is solution.

Ok installed, now i have to fix drivers problems and bootaf0 problem..

Update:
I have working system - 3D Graphics, Ethernet, only Audio (soundcodec or HDMI) is not working for now, system is stable.

Ok, i made realtekHD audio working..
HDAS->HDEF ssdt
After that Audio injection 1 or 2 ID both are working
codecDetection script - to validation
mount Efi partition and Multibeast for Sierra installation
Reboot audio is working..

Only thing is not working for me is now is HDMI audion on Intel 530HD..

HDMI audio is working.

Remaining issues (maybe fixable):
- no HDMI and DP dual monitor
- no picture on HDMI monitor, after monitor short turn off / turn on

Sorry to hop on an old thread. Was wondering if you'd resolved those issues. I'm looking into a build with this MoBo

No, but these are general problem, not related to this specific MB.. I found HDMI tutorial not straightforward..
