I'm trying to get sound working properly even after sleep. I'm on a MSI Z170A Gaming M5 with a Realtek ALC1150 audio codec. I've used MultiBeast's 100 Series audio & ALC1150 fixes, which brought sound in the first place, but not after sleep. I didn't have luck with the CodecCommander.kext (also tried the one explicitly for 1150). Any help would be highly appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem. The sound is really very low. I also use the same method as you to patch the audio

Seeing the same problem here, tried the following:

toleda's patch
AppleALC.kext
CodecCommander.kext
EAPDFix.kext
AppleHDA.kext (10.11.5)

No difference.

EDIT: Fixed by changing darkwake=10 to darkwake=8.
