  1. MacBook Pro
I have a ProBook 4530s with dual boot set up for Windows 10 and Mavericks.

I just migrated from Chimera to Clover booting.

In order to boot currently, I need to do the following long procedure.

1. F9 to bring up boot options page
2. Select "Boot from EFI file"
3. Select boot disk
4. Navigate to EFI/BOOT/BootX64.efi
5. In Clover screen, select OSX or Windows

I want to automate steps 1-4 so that the machine automatically boots to the Clover screen

Because I migrated from Chimera, there seem to be legacy boot files still hanging around on the disk. If I do not touch any buttons after turning the machine on, my system boots to Windows. I assume that it does this by using one of the legacy boot files left on the disk.

In the "Boot options" page I see after "F9", I see the options:

OS Boot Manager
OS Boot Manager
Boot from EFI file

How can I get rid of the legacy boot files?

With Chimera, we placed a number of boot files directly onto the disk like:

boot
boot0
boot1h

Can I delete these? Should I delete these?

If you installed Clover to the ESP, those files are not used.

After F9, In the Boot Options screen, I see 3 possible boot choices:

OS Boot Manager
OS Boot Manager
Boot from EFI file

I want to make the first 2 occurances of "OS Boot Manager" disappear.

Does this mean I need to hunt in \EFI\MICROSOFT\ and delete or rename 2 .efi files?

With the 4530s, the only option is rename bootmgfw.efi -> bootmgfw-orig.efi as described in the guide.
