This is the first test of all hardware assembled (pic B). Then I found the screw columns affect the installation. So I modify Chassis after test.

This is incredible. I'm blown away at how much you were able to fit in the base. The overhaul on the display alone is stunning.

    Amazing execution. Great work

    Hi sinoneptune,

I have to say you've made an incredible work here. When looking at your other posts on chiphell.com, I saw you've also built another mod with a 27" curved monitor. I particularly appreciate your sense of rigor, with an amazing pre-work study.

I'm also in a study phase as I plan to build a iMac G4 mod with Retina display (based on the iMac 21.5" Retina). The panel is LM215UH1 from LG. I've found this LCD controller from DigitalView as we're talking about eDP now instead of LVDS connection.

I'm still checking with the company if this LCD controller should work.

Obviously, I'd need to re-build a new display shell with the appropriate dimensions. I'm not a professional and not used to manage AutoCad. Any chance you would send me your files based on the 20" format so that I'd try a patch?

    Many thanks.

    Julien

PS: I've tried to contact you directly, but I can't via tonymacx86 and cannot registrer to the chiphell.com website.
