I keep getting this when trying to boot from iBoot to the Snow Leopard Boot Disk.
EBIOS read error: Media error
Block 0x0 Sector 0
Any advice? I unplugged all peripherals, except the USB mouse, and only have 1 Harddrive hooked up and the dvd drive. All of the front panel connectors are unplugged, and the graphics are onboard this MSI motherboard.
Get 10.6.8 installed. You don't need to run MultiBeast, just boot with iBoot and go to the Mac App Store, create an account and download Mavericks; Mavericks will start to install, however, quit the installer. Create the UniBeast USB thumb drive. Reboot into your BIOS and make the UniBeast USB thumb drive your primary boot drive. The rest of the steps are in the tonymacx86 10.9 Installation Guide.Hi Guys,
I'm trying to put together my first Hack. Just want to confirm something. After I have Snow Leopard installed from DVD and update to 10.6.8, can I go directly to one of the newer versions or do I need to purchase each upgrade along the sequence 10.7, 10.8, 10.9?
Thanks very much!
Bob
