Simplest Mac OS X Installation Guide

Since I don't have access to a mac I was about to use the simple approach via snow leopard. BUT, in reading the instructions I note that I can't have more than 4 gigs of ram in the machine. I have 8 gigs (4 gig modules) and my understanding of ddr3 is that they need to be installed in pairs. So, I can't take one out to get to 4 gigs. What do I do?

The 4 GB limit was for older hardware and not an issue now.

I install Lion on my Sabertooth X58 with 24GB RAM installed :D

Thanks for the quick answer. Makes sense. Will proceed.
