Does this work with sierra?

Most USB audio devices work from Snow Leopard right up to the present day Sierra without any issue. Obviouly you do need to have full functioning USB ports for any device. The Sabrient model is listed (8th item down in the Accessories section) is a good model to buy and comes with a short USB cable if you have limited space around your USB ports to plug this USB audio in.

Can confirm that the Tecknet Adapter works out of the box.

It's aluminum body blends in nicely with the aluminum of my Spectre x360. It's definitely one of the better looking adapters and I can't tell any difference between this and the onboard audio. Then again, I'm no audiophile.

U3 Works fine.
I just today received my Asus Xonar U3 and as soon as I plugged it in and plugged my speaker lead in, the sound was there - really good.
