i have googled unsuccessfully for a list of core 2 duo's that support sierra.

specifically, will either of
E6750
E7300
or
E7600 support sierra?

thanks

All of the Core 2 CPUs were in Macs that did not make the model cutoff for Sierra aupport. Core i CPUs only, but you can fake it if you have a quad core.

This is not true. My 2010 MBP with a Core2Duo is supported.

Have installed Beta and just did GM. on an E8400 dual core on GA EP45-UD3l
definitely not quad core and definitely works
Using it as I write. JOHN

It needs the newer Wolfdale variants that have SSE4.1, so E7300 and E7600 are ok. E6570 is an older Conroe model with SSE3 only so no go.

i have a pentium g2030 runnng sierra smoothly
