Hi there,

I've just upgraded my main rig to Sierra from Yosemite and I'm noticing a drop in cpu performance.

I ran Geekbench after ironing out all the kinks and I'm receiving almost 1000 points less in single core and 3000 less in multicore. My processor is overclocked to 4.5ghz.

Yosemite always listed my cpu in about this mac at stock speeds, but it seems in Sierra that im receiving pre oc performance.

Any suggestions on how to tackle this would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you are comparing apples to apples when benchmarking. When I built my hackintosh, I benchmarked using Geekbench 3. I benchmarked with 4 and thought I had lost performance, but it just that the base comparison system had changed which lowered my numbers.

I had some problems OC my 3770k after upgrade. I found that certain profiles from Unibeast did not allow me to OC.
