Hello! I was able to install Sierra, but I'm really struggling to get the ethernet on my GA-H170M-D3H (i3 6100, Intel 530) hackintosh build to work.

I've been reading dozens and dozens of forum posts and articles, but I can not get it to connect.

The closest resources I can find for this motherboard and ethernet problems all relate to El Capitan, and suggest that using Multibeast to get IntelMausiEthernet will solve the problem. I've tried that, and it doesn't work.

What steps can I take to troubleshoot and understand this problem?
What additional information can I provide to help others help me more effectively?

I just did another clean wipe. Before running MultiBeast, ethernet was working.

But after I add the standard Quick Start UEFI Boot Mode (no custom drivers, trying to isolate the problem). And as expected after reboot, ethernet doesn't work (because there is no driver).

So after that reboot, I installed IntelMausiEthernet v2.2.0 with Multibeast. Reboot again.

And ethernet is not working anymore.

Remove previously installed IntelMausiEthernet.kext from /Library/Extensions

Download KextBeast 2.0.1 and IntelMausiEthernet-v2.2.0.zip

1. Place IntelMausiEthernet.kext from the IntelMausiEthernet-v2.2.0.zip file on your desktop.
2. Run KextBeast installer
3. Select the destination folder: /Library/Extensions
4. Reboot

Thank you for your reply.

I tried this, and unfortunately it did not work.

I also tried another fresh install, and then tried it, and the ethernet is still not working.

What are other steps to troubleshoot this problem?

I have same motherboard, and the ethernet is working.

You can follow this video
I hope this is working for you.

IntelMausiEthernet 2.2 is indeed the way to go
I used a kextinstaller to install it. Multibeast somehow couldn't install it for me on the same motherboard

Alright, after 3 hours I found my fix.

The latest IntelMausiEthernet v2.2.0 doesn't work with 10.11.6 for me.

RehabMan's IntelMausiEthernet v2.1.0d5 works for me now.

Typing away on my new hackintosh.

Good to hear this, since I've ordered the same mobo :p
I was so nervous!

I'm on 10.12. I installed IntelMausiEthernet v2.1.0d5 with Kextbeast, and it did not work.

I also tried a few other versions of IntelMausiEthernet without any luck, ethernet is still not working.

There seems to be problems with Sierra and this motherboard. Apple won't let me re-download El Capitan at this time (from my purchased on another mac, spins forever and never downloads), so I don't really know what to do.
