That sounds excellent I'll be sure to give that a shot tonight and see how close I can get. Thanks for letting me know. I'll also put up a guide once I get it running

I have the same motherboard. Successfully installed OSX Capitan with https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...itan-10-11-2-clover-guide-100-working.183441/ and then did a direct update to sierra from appstore. And followed the post installation step in this https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...sierra-10-12-clover-guide-100-working.203769/. Everything works fine. Have intermittent boot issue. will update if i get it fixed

I'm curious did you get usb 3.0 working?
And did you need to alter anything using the direct update to Sierra?

I didnt check USB 3 yet. Before direct update, copied the FakeSMC.kext to other and all the kext in 10.11 to 10.12 folder. Didnt change the boot arg (npci=0x2000 & nvda_drv=1). After install the boot failed. Boot arg npci=0x2000, nvda_drv=1 and -f worked. Then followed the post installation steps in https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...sierra-10-12-clover-guide-100-working.203769/

did you boot without caches? It would seem that the option has been removed as of 3850

May I ask how you went about the direct update? I tried to do it after installing clover and using the same stuff we as for the el capitan install and it keeps freezing at nanoseconds if it even allows me to try to bot from it.

Never mind after i tried a couple of times with different iterations it started working after i added safe mode to the install for some reason, cut out and then i was able to install normally. Thank you so much for your help Pius31 !!!

Glad it worked :) . Do you have any boot issue. My system fails to boot intermittently.. it boots fine mostly, but intermittently has boot issue with "cannot allocate" error. I had this in Capitan too. Any idea how to fix it ? could you please share your efi.

I'm currently trying to get it to run with voodoohda for sound. Thats how i got it to run on yosemite and i liked the interface. However it seems to hate me now. I had it booting fine with clover %100 percent of the time but that was without any webdrivers or sound. Multibeast actually killed off my usb plugs. They are currently running fine so im trying to work around multibeast and only use clover. I'll Upload my efi when i'm able to get back in to the install
