Well, I checked FAQ of audio thread, and I found DPCIManager. I checked PCI list and I can't see my audio hardware here. How to repair it? Should I try to reinstall Sierra, or just do something else? I had installed Vodoo and I had sound, but I had big noise which was annoying.
Edit: I found in boot log this :
KextsToPatch: 3 requested
0:836 0:000 - [0]: AppleHDA (10.11-AppleHDA/Realtek ALC...) :: BinPatch :: data len: 4
0:836 0:000 - [1]: AppleHDA (10.9-10.11-AppleHDA/Realtek ALC892) :: BinPatch :: data len: 4
0:836 0:000 - [2]: AppleHDA (AppleHDA/Resources/xml>zml) :: BinPatch :: data len: 6

Maybe it will help somehow

You made my alc887 working again. Many thanks.
Small question. What about the HDMI Audio for 10.12?

Hi Tasos1615. As we have the same codec ALC887 and probably the same motherboard and you said that your sound works. Please could you explain me what you did, I cannot get sound device. Thanks

Is there any way to have the patch working on 10.11 AND 10.12? This patch makes my El Capitan lose audio again (dual boot just to be sure because it's still a beta).

What I did was to compare what was added to KextsToPatch, two of the three patches are the same for 10.11 and 10.12, so I just added the one that was different for 10.11 and now sound works in El Capitan too... This is with ALC892 btw.

So you added one of the patches for 10.11 that differed from the 10.12 patch set? Thanks for replying btw.
