Sierra Asus Z170 Pro Gaming No Audio

No, try MultiBeast:
Drivers > Audio > RealtekALCxxx √ ALC1150
plus √ 100 Series Audio
Restart, reply with new Status screenshot

I'm in the same boat - ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard, getting DPCImanager seeing device and codec registered, but Sound prefs not seeing any devices, and System Profiler seeing the Intel HD Audio, but no devices.

I've most recently used Multibeast, checking both the 1150 driver, and the 100-series Audio, and see the patches are being applied in my CLOVER/config.plist.

I've disabled SIP using config.plist's Rt Variables - tried setting CsrActiveConfig to 0x3 as well as 0x17.

Suggestions on how to troubleshoot this (not just looking for solutions) would be welcome.

Thanks, as always!

@dylanmc Did you ever figure this out? I have the exact same issue. I am starting to think that the kexts within multibeast no longer work with the latest version of OSX.

MultiBeast audio works with the latest version of macOS as it will for all future versions of macOS.
