Hey I hope I can get some help here.

I have been trying for some time to get the Nvidia web drivers to initiate on my X99 build.

The drivers install fine without any problems. And Nvidia is always selected under the nvidia desktop menu and under system preferences.

The problem is that I can only start with nv-disable=1, in boot flags without nv-disable=1 I get the well known boot loop when boot reaches the gIOScreenLockState 3 line.

I have tried:

AGDPfix

NvidiaGraphicsFixup

Lilu

NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext and Lilu.kext have been installed in /kexts/other and I have also tried installing them to System/Extensions.

Neither seem to fix anything or allow it to boot normally.

Hardware:

MB: MSI x99a sli plus

Processor: Intel i7 5820k

GC: Asus Strix GTX 970

I've included my EFI folder below.

I have looked through many threads on here but i've had no luck so far.

Thank you to anyone that can help me at all!

Not according to your EFI.zip file!
They are installed in EFI/CLOVER/kexts and not EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other

Thanks for the reply but they were originally in kexts/Other I just removed them from there to test them in /System/Extensions.
None of which made any difference.

Hi @originphase ,
I had the same problem with a build using x99 and a Titan X

this worked for me:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/new-method-for-enabling-nvidia-web-drivers-in-clover.202341/

I had to deactivate Boot/Arguments/nvda_drv=1 and press the button from the new section to get the UUID (check the attachment)
After that seems to be working now.

hope it helps
