<< Solved >> Sidecar doesn't work

Hello everyone
I have a working hackintosh on my Asus VivoBook laptop. Today I tried to use sidecar with my iPad via USB but sidecar doesn't want to detect the device. All 3 USBs work (the iPad is in fact detected in the Finder). I tried with hackintool to map the usb but not being an expert, the Mac starts to not work correctly but I was able to make the airplay icon appear without however being able to start the sidecar. Luckily I went back with the back-up of kext. Someone could direct me to make sidecar work (I just need it via usb, not wifi) Thanks

patana93 are you signed with apple because sidecar only work if your signed in. Airdrop works but not sidecar

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Yes, I’m signed up to the same account on Mac and iPad.

At this moment, after my restore of kext, airplay icon is not showed anymore

My sidecar didn't work until I deleted wifi from System Preferences/network than added wifi back.you could try!

I don't have a valid wifi card into my laptop. How do I add the card? This is my network situation

I have logged out from the iCloud account and logged in again and magically sidecar now work like a charm!
