Hello,
As the title suggests, I'm struggling with both sleep and shutdown on my hackintosh. I've being researching this issue for the past few weeks in an attempt to fix. Here's what I've done so far:
1. ACPI -> FixShutdown:
ticked this box, does nothing.
2. Configured USB ports:
Ive properly configured all the USB ports on my hackintosh using Hackintool with it's provided guide, and created my custom USBPorts.kext file. USB is working great, but still get a restart on sleep or shutdown
3. Darkwake settings:
I've read up on the latest Darkwake boot flag options for Catalina at:
I've tried 0,1,2,3. All just simply reboot the system when I sleep
Running pmset -g in terminal produces the following:
standby 1
Sleep On Power Button 1
womp 0
hibernatefile /var/vm/sleepimage
proximitywake 0
powernap 0
networkoversleep 0
disksleep 0
standbydelayhigh 86400
sleep 30 (sleep prevented by coreaudiod, UserEventAgent)
hibernatemode 0
ttyskeepawake 1
displaysleep 15 (display sleep prevented by coreaudiod)
tcpkeepalive 1
highstandbythreshold 50
standbydelaylow 86400
I noticed in this list there are a few processes preventing sleep. Could these be my issues, or are these just processes that are currently keeping the system awake, until the sleep timer is reached? I've also heard that this can be caused by cpu power management. in my config.plist I've enabled generation of C and P states. Is there something else I need to do to confirm my power management is accurate?
I've attached my config.plist, maybe someone can spot something stupid I'm doing, or forgetting to do?
Thanks

DarkWake on macOS Catalina | boot args darkwake=8 & darkwake=10 are obsolete
There are plenty of users who suggest to use darkwake=8 or darkwake=10 or darkwake=0 boot args to solve sleep issues. Are these suggestions valid at all? For first we have to clarify something about Darkwake. The DarkWake feature was for first introduced in Mac OS X Lion. This feature allows to w...
