MOBO: Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H ATX
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K 3.5GHZ Ivy Bridge
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus
Firewire PCI: Syba SD-LP-TIFWB Low Profile Firewire Controller
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 570 2560 MB
SSD: Crucial M4 SSD Micron 128gb (Windows 7 OS)
SSD: Crucial M4 SSD Micron 256gb (Lion OS and Logic Pro)
HDD: Western Digital 2TB Caviar Green SATA 3 (Media drive for both OS's)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 16GB 2X8GB
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series 750W
Case: Fractal Design Define R3
I'm running games on Windows AND Lion, and in both instances I start experiencing horizontal screen tearing a few minutes into the game. I'm running the games from the SSD' and on high settings. I've only been playing first person shooters. Should I expect to be seeing tearing with my specs? I was hoping to be able to run games very smoothly. And to be honest I don't even know if my GPU is running at full functionality or not, how do I test this? Thanks for any advice or help.
