Osfoora http://www.osfoora.com/
TotalFinder http://totalfinder.binaryage.com/
Ecoute http://www.pixiapps.com/ecoute/
To play my music. I actually hate most apps that start with the i.
iPhoto, iTunes both sluggish freakin resource eaters!
Sparkbox http://www.icyblaze.com/sparkbox/
Reeder http://reederapp.com/
DayOne http://dayoneapp.com/
Here's an exception on the apps starting with an i
iA Writer http://www.iawriter.com/

Reason I left windows 2,5 years ago behind is not because I'm soo in love with Mac OS but with the apps developers create for the Mac :)

I also like the previously mentioned TextWrangler, but sadly it is Mac only. A similar editor, but available for Linux, Windows and Mac is Editra. (http://editra.org/preview) Be sure to look at the available extensions.

Sublime Text 2 is great too and is available for Mac/Win.
Finally in full version mode btw :)

I just build a new Hack, which is running Mac OS X SL 10.6.8. I just wonder what version of iLife and iWork I should get.

I already install the following free software:

1- Blue Fish (editor)
2- Picasa (drawing/photo)
3- Audacity (audio)
4- Kindle

Anyhow, I would appreciate your comments and assistance to decide if I should buy iLife or iWork. I found out that amazon has iLife versions 11 and 9 whereas Apple doesn't see to sell iWork any more, but it does seem to sell its components in the App Store for about $20 each of the components. Thanks.
