Does anybody know of an open source program for OSX that has the equivalent functionality of Snapz Pro X or Wiretap Anywhere that Ambrosia software published?

Oh, and it may not be an OSX app from the strictest point of view; however, flOw is a fun game if you want to lose track of time and bring down your blood pressure (http://interactive.usc.edu/projects/clo ... g/core.swf).

Here's some of the top of my head. :)

Google Chrome - Fast browser. Enough said.

Celtx - A really nice script writing piece of software with other powerful features.

Office 2011 - Much better than iworks, but that might just be personal preference.

Adobe CS5 Master Collection - For photo and some video editing.

Final Cut Studio - For most of my video editing projects.

Steam - For a bit of light gaming in the form of Half-life.

TweetDeck - A nice way to post and view tweets on twitter.

Last.fm - Scrobbles music from itunes to the Last.fm website.

Handbreak - Rips my dvd's to use as either a back up or to put on iphone.

Spotify - If I want to give a new album a full listen before purchase I'll use spotify.

AppFresh - Keeps pretty much all of your apps up-to-date.

VLC - Plays almost all video/music formats.

Perian - swiss army knife of video codecs.

Growl - a nice updater thing...

There's probably loads more... but they're off the top of my head.

Does anyone know a good solution to switch a 2nd monitor on/off? I think SwitchXRes is out of date isn't it? I do not just want to switch of my 2nd monitor manually since SL still thinks it's on and occasionally opens windows on it. Also, my graphics card uses a lot less power whenever it only drives one screen as it clocks down (driver permitting, not sure if this works under OS X).

Oh, and my tip for the day: PleaseSleep, especially if your Hackintosh does not sleep from idle:
