Anyone tried the 10.11.5 update yet? Was thinking of trying tonight.

Anyone tried the 10.11.5 update yet? Was thinking of trying tonight.

I updated Clover to 3526 then did the update and didn't have any problems. It looks like audio is working without the need to run the patch again too.

Confirmed. Updated today. Screen went black during boot for about 5 seconds, but came back, finished install and logged in. No issues at all for Brix Pro.

Anyone able to get the ethernet working? I used these kext and got a kernel panic.

I have the BRIX 4770R. Did you get a solution for the laggy ethernet. I have tried both the RealtekRTL8111.kext version 1.1, 1.2 from Mieze and both have very slow lan connections. Atleast the 1.1 is slow but does not drop, the 1.2 version drops when the load increases.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Problem solved - update 7/13

Folks,

I finally found the solution for the RTL8111 being very slow. Mieze in insanelymac forum posted a version 1.2.2-dev3 which solves the problem.

or if the above link does not work check out page 34

Many thanks

Updated to Clover r3642 then updated to OSX 10.11.6 no problems.

Did not update clover but updated to 10.11.6 anyway (by accident) and everything is fine.

I successfully updated my Brix to macOS Sierra Beta 7 (10.12 Beta (16A304a))

1. Update to Clover 3716
2. Copy the EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.11 to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.12
3. Copy HFSPlus.efi to EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI
4. Install macOS Sierra Beta 7 via App Store update
5. Run audio_cloverALC-120_v1.0b0.command to get audio back
6. Apply this patch to Clover config.plist to get WiFi working (my card is an Azurewave AW-CE123H)
7. No solution for Bluetooth yet

Good news! I look forward to updating to the full release when it is unleashed on us in a few months.

Successfully updated from 10.11.6 to 10.12 (final) on BRIX GB-BXi5-4570R!

*Changed system definition to iMAC 15,1 (Multibeast) for App store to allow download
*Installed Clover 2.3k_r3716 (3751 and 3761 boot looped my system)

-Followed Tony Mac's guide:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/direct-update-to-macos-sierra-using-clover.201465/

-For #2, downloaded FakeSMC, RTL8111, NullCPUPowerManagement, copied to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/

-Used link from Headkaze and downloaded HFSPlus.efi
https://github.com/JrCs/CloverGrowerPro/blob/master/Files/HFSPlus/X64/HFSPlus.efi?raw=true
Copy HFSPlus.efi to EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI

-Start upgrade, system will reboot.
Highlight "Boot macOS Install", press space bar and select these options:
*Boot without caches
*Inject kexts
*Verbose
*Start with above options

-Sit back and wait for 20-30 mins for upgrade
HDMI audio continued to work, NiC is working. Looks like optical/headphone jack is dead... Might try ALC120.command link Headkaze listed shortly...

If this doesnt work for you, dont ask me how to fix it cause I dont know.
Im a n00b myself.

EDIT: Tested the link Headkaze added to get headphone/optical audio back:
https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC/raw/master/audio_cloverALC-120.command.zip

Had to use EFI Mounter v3 here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/resources/efi-mounter-v3.280/
Restart afterwards. Tested and working!
