Hi I have my Hackintosh that I Love but I have yet to be able to flash a new BIOS that will allow my Rig to sleep, It will sleep but then it restarts and the EFI partition is no longer active on the SSD and I have to use my Unibeast stick to boot back in.
this is the specs of my Rig

- Chameleon EFI bootloader | Unibeast 5 setup

- CPU | i5 4430 Haswell 3-3.2GHz

- 16GB 1600MHz ram | 8GB x 2
- 250GB Samsung EVO 840 SSD
- Graphic Card | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
- MotherBoard | Asus B85M-G
- WiFi | Atheros 9380
- Ethernet | Realtek RTL8111
- Audio | Realtek ALC877
- LG Blu-ray | RW BH16NS40

I tried following these steps suggested here

If you have problem patching the BIOS, here already patched by me for B85M-G:

To flash patched BIOS you need use Bupdater or AFUDOS Utility. Create Bootable DOS USB Pen Drive using rufus Utility:
http://rufus.akeo.ie

I used AFUDOS and it doesn't work at all, and BUPDATER says it cant open the file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is the Last thing I need to do to have a 100% functioning Hackintosh, Sleep is the only things that doesn't work.
Thank you again.

Hi did you find a way to be able to sleep your motherboard?

Hey macj29 !

I'm writing to you because we've got the same Motherboard, GC and CPU and I'd like to transform my PC into a Hackintosh.

I wanted to know if you installed Yosemite with Unibeast from this website ? Did you have to change any settings in the BIOS before installing ?

I'm very beginner in hackintosh world and you're the only person I found with this configuration :)

Thanks in advance for your answer !

@Rlski
I followed this guide http://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/create-a-hackintosh-with-asus-motherboards.4591/
for the mother board and followed the Tonymacx86 installation guide, http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...-x-yosemite-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html

I used Unibeast and Multibeast, do not use the cpunullpowermanagment.kext but install chameleon wizard and set the CPU to load c and p states, it works better.
I don't have the board any more but I am pretty sure all I changed in the Bios was legacy boot, turned of VT-d, and I can't remember anything else at this time.

Sorry for the late reply on this I just got this profile back online.

Let me know if I can help.
Cheers.
