The T6E card does contain a Broadcom chip, but one that needs to be patched for it to work in maCOS.
The T8E and T9E cards use a natively supported Broadcom Chipset - BCM4360, either of which would be a better choice than the T6E card.

I ended up ordering a Fenvi T919. Will take about a month to receive! But starting to think I should have looked for one of those TP Link cards with Broadcom, since I could probably find here in Moscow.
