hey folks,
should i sell my 10900KF and get a 10900K or 10850K so i can pick the more hardware-accurate imac 20,2 or 20,1 system definitions? this will be for a spare travel build
or...just use 10900KF with imacpro1,1 or macpro7,1? i feel like it is better to be as accurate as possible for stability (though i have used both imac and mac pro in the past). if so, should i chose imacpro or macpro? Thanks.

I use a 9900k with the IGPU turned off and Mac Pro 7,1 with memory maps. This system runs as stable as any Mac I have ever had. I am not sure if it is an illusion but I feel like running my system as Mac Pro 7,1 is betta then the iMac Pro 1,1.

No need to. If I were you I would just use iMacPro1,1 for the SMBIOS.

I use a i7 9700KF myself and use iMacPro1,1 to run MacOS Sierra / High Sierra / Mojave / Catalina on my main system.
