I used the standalone updates (Mojave 2021-003 / Catalina 2021-002) to install on my Mojave 10.14.6 and Catalina 10.15.7 installations. No apparent issues so far. Installed onto a test disk using my Kaby Lake system (Z270X-UD5 / i7 7700K / GTX 660) and then cloned the installations back to my other systems using SuperDuper. I use Clover 4920 for Mojave and Clover 5119 for Catalina.

Run the updater on Mojave / Catalina and reboot when requested. When the Clover screen appears choose the option with "MacOS Install". May need to do it more than once.

I made a huge step from something like 2020-001 to 2021-003 today in Clover 5119 & Mojave. No problems so far; one restart was necessary.

Update successfully 2020-002 to 2021-003, two restart necessary Clover 5122, +/- 15 min

I have never updated kexts since starting about 5 months ago—if I stay on Catalina with this machine, I wonder if I will need to?
