Security Update 2021-001 Catalina, Security Update 2021-001 Mojave

Please, aside from knowing if the update worked or not, write also with which boot system: OpenCore or Clover? Thanks for your understanding.

Just updated Catalina with Security Update 2021-001, from Catalina 10.15.7 - 19H114
It took about 30 minutes and a couple of reboots, but everything went totally smooth!

Below my configuration:

Gigabyte B360N Wifi
i3 8100
RX 570

OpenCore 0.5.9

Didn't need to do any further intervention after the update.

Ok, updated from 19H512 to 19H524.

Just pressed "Update" in System Preferences and went for dinner. Came back with the system updated.

No issues whatsoever.

Updated Catalina from 19G512 to 19H524, using the system Preferences > Software pane. Couple of unattended reboots and done.



Also updated Safari to 14.0.3. Browser update probably related to the Sudo fixes applied in the OS.

I am unable to understand why Apple chose to call the Catalina update "Supplemental Update" rather than "2021-002 Security Update", especially as this was released after 2021-001 and seems to be an urgent security update. Whatever. This "Supplemental Update" also seems to include the contents of 2021-001 and supersedes it.

Still waiting for the standalone updaters for these additional security updates. It seems that the Mojave 2021-002 Security Update has superseded 2021-001 and so it is most likely Mojave 2021-001 won't ever be released as a standalone update now.

Updated to 18G8012, too, now CPU turbo states don't work anymore. I'm stuck at standard frequencies both Clover 5129 and OpenCore 0.6.5. Restored 18G7016 from backup

Computer to my left is running Mojave; updated to 10.14.6 build 18G8022 with no problems. Bootloader is Clover R5119.
Also updated our 2013 MacBook Air to 18G8022 with no problems.
