Hi all,

I recently managed to get High Sierra working for the first time on my configuration. So now the 2018-003 update is some time available and after downloading the update and booting into the pre boot volume I get the "Waiting on <dict..." error and then the blocked icon. I've searched this forum but I only find solutions for this issues on new installations. So I find it quite odd that this is happening on an update, I wouldn't expect this.
I tried to boot with nv_disable=1 and Fixheaders Fix but same result. Anyone any suggestions?

BR,

Casper

Anyone any suggestions?

You seem to have both FakeSMC and VirtualSMC installed, they do the same job and are mutually exclusive.
Use one or the other but not both. Suggest FakeSMC as you seemingly have the sensors installed.

There may be a problem with Lilu.kext.
Ensure that you have the latest version and that the plugins are updated too.

Check that Serial ports (SuperIO) are disabled in the BIOS settings.
