Verify your build numbers match in About this Mac and in the info.plist. Also you will need to be using kext-dev-mode=1 so the modified kext loads.

About this Mac:
System Version: OS X 10.10.2 (14C1514)

info.plist
<key>NVDARequiredOS</key>
<string>14C1514</string>

....it all installed and Terminal went smoothly but my graphics is still really SLOW & Lagging.

Here's some more info:

Is this normal??

Thanks Stork, your solution fix all my problems, I'll wait for update 10.10.3

Thanks for the fix! I was really annoyed because I just got lg 40" 4k b8000 to pair with my EVGA GTX 970 and on top of the HDMI port not doing 4k60 I dealt with the fallout from this install (had no problems with Security update 002)
Hopefully nVidia will eventually support this card on Macs. This seemed like the ideal graphics card for price/performance/poweruseage but the HDMI port issues are unacceptable. Im glad I'm not a gamer as the vRAM is also unacceptable (guess FCPX has never used > 3.5 GB RAM because I have never seen this issue.)

What if your Info.plist does not contain the NVDARequiredOS string?

I'm having to boot with the nv_disable=1 string to get into the OS - maybe that's why?

I have a 970 and previously had the 343.01.01f01 driver installed.

thanks!

WebDriver-343.02.02b04 has a weaker version check.
for the moment it works.
it fixed my gtx 970 strix sli problems.
it check only 14c.

Its there.

after running these command from slim.jim, also with your "Repair disk permissions" ,
now my GTX 970 get working  thank you both of your help!

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to hackintoshing.

I have the GTX 960 and i have installed the newest driver but when I got to check 'About This Mac' it shows me that my Graphics Card is an 'NVIDIA Chip Model 7 MB'
NVIDIA Driver Manager says my Dive was not found.
Do I have to change any kexts after installing the driver?
I already tried the Disk Permission fix through terminal.
Help is appreciated. Thanks!
