Just saw this new security update kb/HT/1222, i don't want to jump on it.
Has anyone installed it? If yes, please mention the steps involved.

Thanks!

I had to reinstall the kexts from Probookinstaller in order to get my HDMI output back. Otherwise I have not noticed any problems. So far...

The update was completely painless thanks to the Clover vanilla set-up :) I didn't have to restore/reinstall anything, it went just like on a mac.

thanks all for making it clear, downloading it now!
You all rock!

Edit:

Went through the update, saw some text about EBIOS on the restart after update dunno what that means.
Second restart was normal.System working as it suppose to :headbang:.

Did you have any external USB devices connected to your ProBook during the first boot? That EBIOS text appears sometimes due to that.

is there going to be a difference between clover and non clover setups?

Tried it on my "non clover" setup (Probook 4530s):

- repaired permissions
- installed 2014-002 update via AppStore
- reboot
- everything ok
