Something is strange : your captures show "MacBook Pro ..." and the files of #post1 use a MacMini Profile ...

We have to find out why !

Can you create your installer with another method ?

Hello

I only have a MacBook Pro and that is what I used to create the USB. The OS was downloaded straight from the App Store.

Unfortunately I don't have any other Macs to try

Maybe that's the reason why ... but still it should be "MacMini error" even if your installer was made on a MacBookPro !

I didn't mean to create the installer on another mac but with a different method : CreateInstallMedia from #post1 is the one I use.

Hi Sebinouse..

I did a fresh install with 10.11.4 via your post in #1
Everything is working with the exception of Audio.
When I run the script it gives me an error of Prelink failure on com.apple.driver.AppleHDA.
Please refer to attached picture..

Hope you can help me out...

Regards

Hello

bd4utonite2 you're just trying to rub it in now :) How did you get it to work?

Was your initial OS from a desktop machine? As mentioned earlier, I wonder if my issue is that I only have a MacBook and it is getting the OS from there:

Please - what exactly did you do? What files did you move to what folders etc? Oh - and what are your BIOS settings?

Just in case there are any differences at all?

Many thanks to you all

Hi..

I followed the post #1 to a T....
Only thing not working for me is the running of the Audio Script...
USB sound works but not headphone jack nor HDMI sound.

I do not think it has to do with you using a MacBook although I use a macmini.
Maybe you should try changing another USB Thumbdrive?

Make sure your bios is the latest 041 if i am not mistaken
and also make sure your Clover matches r3320 (although newer ones have emerged)

You should make sure the image of the "Install OSX El Capitan" is from the appStore.
Just go to the AppStore and download it (the version will be 10.11.4).. delete the one that you have in Applications first.
When the download finishes do not install just cancel the install ....then use the terminal to create
your boot media as per the instructions.

Cheers

Hi Also check the md5 or sha1 digest and make sure the file is intact.
Just because you downloaded it from the AppStore does not mean there is no errors during transmission.
(Although I know mac os x does the checking for you and auto correct any download errors).
I am not sure what the check sums are.. maybe you can google it....

Also your usb thumdrive should be formatted HFS+ and GUID partitioned.
I saw in your earlier post that you use GParted....

Cheers

Hello

Trying again, going trough post 1 all again. I have found a copy of Clover v3320 which I am using however, as you can see from the attached screen - I cannot select the last option as it is greyed out?

Getting the feeling that this is just not going to work for me

Simple... you cannot select Clover Pref pane for target USB thumbdrive.....
When you run clover against your internal hd this option will be available

Cheers
