MaciASL is the app to use to modify your SSDT/DSDT.

For ssdtPRGen.sh (use this link instead of the previous one) just follow the readme or open terminal enter "sh " (with a space at the end), drag&drop ssdtPRGen.sh file in the terminal window and press enter.

Thanks again.

  • I generated the SSDT with the .sh file, with a .dsl extension. Then I opened in MaciASL, hit Compile and saved as SSDT.aml.
  • Copied the new SSDT to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched (removed the old one first)

  • Changed config.plist in EFI/CLOVER/
  • Changed SSDT-3.aml in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched with MaciASL.
  • Rebooted the system and glitches are still happening.

Maybe I did something wrong, I'll do it all again step by step and see how it goes.

Can you give us more details about your hardware, your BIOS version, your Clover version, etc. ?

OK everything is fine ... maybe something is wrong with your installer : can you try the createinstallmedia method ?

Post#2 issue was due to wrong installer.

I would advice to restart from scratch :
1. remove the App from /Applications/ folder
2. download it again from the AppStore
3. format the usb drive : GUID, HFS(+), "USB"
4. use createinstallmedia command (can be veeerry long)
5. install clover on "USB"
6; copy files from latest package (2011 11 01 for the time being)

SSDT files seem fine, but config.plist wasn't edited. You can try this one :

I have the same set-up as bomsom and experience the exact glitches. I'm using the config you posted here and the SSDT and SSDT-3 files you checked for him. About This Mac shows 6MB of memory for the graphics card.

Thanks for your help!

I forgot to tell you to modify your bios settings :

5. BIOS Settings
...
c. Devices > Video.
Set the "IGD Minimum Memory" to 32 Mo

No joy, unfortunately. Same issues - should I start looking into these KEXT solutions I see around YouTube for the HD 4400? They seem of mixed success and you're far more knowledgeable.
