hi,

i have the "GA-T10X-UD5 TH" Mainboard with M.2 NGFF Slot onboard.
Installed SSD Module above (see subject). OSX Sierra does not see the drive. No Item in Disk Management.

Windows 10 does and is able to access it.

Is it possible to use this drive under Hackintosh?

Thank you!

So i created the "HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_1.kext" installed in S/L/E
and in /EFI/CLOVER/kext/10.12

System does not boot with this. Always resets itself?

do i have to rename the "HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_1.kext" ??
Something missing?

I have used the "NVMe_patches_10_12_1.plist"
My Sierra Hac is on 16B2657.
Or should i use the "NVMe_patches_10_12_1_16B2555.plist" (does not match)?

Best regards!

I use RehabMan's patch routine on my Gene build (see sig block for link). First, only install the HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_1.kext in /S/L/E/ or /L/E/ (I did the former), so remove it from the EFI...Clover/kexts/ folder.

Second, you created the HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_1.kex correctly as that is .plist to use for Sierra Build 16B2657.

Lastly, did you rename the IONVMeFamily.kext in /S/L/E/ to IONVMeFamily.kext.bak as RehabMan has suggested? If not, do so.

Make sure you use KextBeast to install kexts into /S/L/E/ or /L/E/ as it sets the correct permissions and rebuilds caches.

Try rebooting w/o caches. If that doesn't bring the sound back, run MultiBeast for Sierra, choosing only your two sound drivers options.
