Good evening!
First I have to say: Thank you all for the great site and installation help I got here! :)

I got my first Hackintosh running with the Guide from @tonymacx86 and used a old prebuild PC for the whole thing.
The PC specs are:
  • CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
  • Motherboard: H67H2-EM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 440
  • RAM: M378B5273DH0-CH9 (2x 4GB from Samsung)
I followed the guide step by step, but had to adjust config.plist with the Clover Configurator. Otherwise I could not get to the install screen for 'El Capitan'. I installed the OS and all the necessary drivers, got audio, USB 3.0 and LAN running.

The only big problem still left are random freezes while using the system. Mostly they occur while using 'Safari', if I do quick a Google search in a new tab with many tabs open. But they also happen sometimes while reading a pdf-document.
If the Hackintosh freezes, I can still move the mouse around, but the system ignores all input and I have to restart with the power button.

I thought, that the RAM could be bad and did a test for a few hours with 'Memtestx86', but the tool didn't find any errors. The hard drive seems to be ok too.

Has anyone a idea, what I could try in my case? I googled and saw, that there was a freeze problem in combination with 'Safari' in 'El Capitan', but I never had this problem on my good old MacBook Pro 2011 (running also 'El Capitan').

I used the 'Chrome' Browser only for the last days and had not a single freeze. So it seems like its Safari's fault. Safari crashes most of the time, if I want to close a tab or load a new page.

Anyone got an idea how to fix this?

I found a fix for Safari freezing when playing certain (flash?) videos.

The thread where I found the solution is here:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-safari-completely-freezes-on-10-12-5.223520/

I installed the following two kexts here: /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.12/

Kext 1. IntelGraphicsFixup - An open source kernel extension providing patches for Intel GPUs
https://sourceforge.net/projects/intelgraphicsfixup/

Kext 2. vit9696/Lilu v1.1.3
https://github.com/vit9696/Lilu/releases

And that worked! Hurray!

P.S. I did not install the optional kext for broken trailers in iTunes (I don't watch trailers on iTunes) but will list it for reference:
vit9696/Shiki v2.0.2
https://github.com/vit9696/Shiki/releases

Hope that helps!
