I had one in the same room as my wireless AP (the current model time capsule) and the little bastard killed 2.4ghz wifi for the entire house. It took forever to figure out what was going on. You know you're desperate when you've resorted to throwing breakers to isolate whats interfering.
Long story short, the hub's USB cable wasn't properly shielded and whenever a USB3 device was connected it would generate enough interference to disrupt the airport.
