The overclock (4,4 GHz) works fine under Windows, but under Sierra there´s no gain. It refuses to go above 3,4 GHz during load. I´ve tried with Speedstep enabled and disabled. Cooling is no problem, as the CPU currently is cooled by a NZXT Kraken X52 AIO.
I´ve enabled P states in Clover.

My guess is you need to be dropping OEM tables and using a custom SSDT for correct power management?

Same for the MajorWedge? (Your geekbench scores looked low for a 4.2 clock I thought)

I may be wrong but I'm sure with some research you can check this out.

I'd be looking at a custom SSDT and Dropping the OEM tables.

I'm pretty sure this is helpful even on later systems than Sandybridge where it's mandatory....

I may will be wrong mind :) just my thoughts. Good luck.

Hi,
you have to enable "Generate CStates" , C2 , C4 and C6.
For me it works perfectly fine up to 4.6GHz.

Had similar issues with an i7-3770K and GA-Z77X-UH5D MoBo.
Finally this morning I got OC working.

What I did:
* using custom SSDT, edited
* activated "Generate PStates" and "Generate CStates"
--> tested, not working
* updated Clover to latest version (the Version I had didn't list OSX 10.12 as supported version)
* set multiplier Min/Max to 16/44
SUCCESS

However, GB score is disappointing 14400 for 4,3 GHz top frequency :(
