rx580 8gb black screen 10.15

hi everyone,
i upgraded my setup with this card from gtx 1060 and after the updating from mac os 10.13 there is always black screen.

my config:
asus h170 pro gaming
i5 6600
8gb ram
xfx rx580 8gb

Yes, I solved same issue last night after upgrade my gtx970 to rx580 and update to Catalina.

try to set your igpu on bios as primary gpu, then boot to macOs

then you need to use latest WEG and Lilu kext , put them on EFI/clover/others

delete Old WEG and Lilu Kext from Libery/extensions

after that try restart to bios and set gpu to auto on the bios

the rx580 should work

you may need this boot arguement in config.plist
agdpmod=pikera

you may want to trim some uefi drivers though
try the attached efi folder
updated your kexts and modified config.plist a bit

Thank you (!) Foster for the sample EFI. I had a Catalina SSD installation that would boot and work, including Sidecar, via USB 2 but booted to a black screen when plugged into a SATA port. I simply switched to your configp to see if the SSD would boot via SATA--Voila! However although my iPadPro is recognized by Sidecar it is not mirroring the screen. Would you thing that due to the agdpmod=pikera or something else? I usually am more willing to experiment but have spent so much time on Catalina getting to this point my OCD is failing.
