RX 6700 XT is compatible with big sur?

The latest WEG has been updated to allow better spoofing of AMD cards. The 6900 XTXH models can now be spoofed to work as XTX models.

If they add 6600 support you may be able to spoof the 6700 series to use the drivers.

You will need to use the new WEG, fake device ID and a SSDT.BRGT.aml
I don't know if this is good news. What I expect most is Apple's official support for 6700xt

the device id was found before even 6600 became a thing.

i am still hopeful. as someone mentioned it earlier, they took 6-7 months to add the 6800 support.
as this was launched in march, i am waiting till around september wwdc to accept defeat

SSDT.BRGT.aml ?

Is that the name of a the file? link?

Can you point me to some Guide for spoofing 6900xtxH into a regular xtx

I have a hackintosh (11.5) with an i9+32G+R580 that works flawlessly

But my main PC is a 5950x+64G+6900xtxH, and it would be nice if I could have a hack here

You will need to edit the SSDT the sample version is set up for Intel.

IORegistry Explorer can help with that.

You will need a few things.
IORegistry Explorer and MacIASL app to edit the SSDT. You will need to replace the PEG0 and PEGP with GPP0 or GPP7 etc.. whichever path your graphics card is listed under.

Here is a link to where it was announced. #1,317

I've got this card:

0f:00.0 1002:73af /PCI0@0/GPP8@3,1/SWUS@0/SWDS@0/GFX0@0 = PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x3,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

Well, I found an easier solution, I just flashed the card with a regular 6900XT bios
(saved a copy of original xtxH '73af' bios and sent it to my email as well)

2x Display Ports working at 100Hz (CRG49/2xPBP) + HDMI TV, working even with HDR

Now I just need to figure out how to show the real CPU info there ..
Systeminfo sees 16 cores correctly, so it's just cosmetic
(and last 2 attempts in config, OSX wouldn't boot)

Also, had to add agdpmod=pikera to boot-args

Nice work. If you had done this earlier could have saved my $1700. I just bought the 6800XT because my 6700XT was not working.

well, you canNOT flash a 6700xt into a 6800xt :)
still, 1700 for a 6800xt is a LOT, I paid 1200(€) for my 6900xt LC

in my case, just flashed a 6900xtxH (73af, not supported) into a 6900xtx (73bf, supported)

both are 6900's, only AF's just a better bin

maybe I will just just open a new thread for this
