I had a USB wifi dongle (TP-Link Archer T2U V1) that works like crap, probably because the driver (RT2870USBWirelessDriver.kext) is constantly logging errors to the console. All this logging not only slows down my computer but make boot up very slow.
Anyway, I ran the uninstaller for the driver AND manually deleted RT2870usbwirelessdriver.kext. However, I still see tons of messages in my Console.app that are coming from RT2870usbwirelessdriver.kext. I rebooted with -f UseKernelCache=No
High Sierra.
