Rosewill PCI-e WiFi Adapter not working in OSX Yosemite

Issue: Rosewill AC1200PCE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac not working

Chipset: Realtek RTL-8812AU

Working fine via Win8. In theory it should work in OSX with these drivers, which I installed:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/106288-realtek-released-drivers-802-11ac-usb-adapters.html

Sys def 3,1 running OSX 10.10 Yosemite

Do I need to kext edit? Anything else I'm missing? Thanks vm in advance for your assistance!

Hi Ommundra,

You can try to change the smbios and see if it makes a difference. I encounter a similar problem with a different wifi card and changing the def worked like a charm. Just an idea... ;)

Sure, first one question, what bootloader are you using? Chimera or Clover?

If Chimera, then download Chamelon Wizard, then open /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist , then select a different smbios from there. Save file then boot/test.

If Clover, you can download Clover Configurator and then mount EFI partition. Proceed to open config file under /EFI/Clover. From there you can change smbios and then save it.
