Right Mobo for Hackintosh

Hello all from France,


Been reading you for a while now and am that close to make the jump and go for a hackintosh for my next computer !


I am to reproduce the mac pro set tup listed in the Buyer's Guide, but for the mono, instead the of Z87X-UD3H, I found out for the same price a Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H, which comes with some Sata ports!


The question is, since this mobo appears nowhere in December's buyer's guide, can I still consider it for a hackintosh? Will it work like the UD3H, meaning it will work without too much modding or flashing or who knows what ? That's why I'm only considering Gigabite for a mobo.

The UD4H is an excellent choice. If you look closer you'll see that it's in
the Dec. Buyer's Guide, always has been in the list of compatible boards
but not in the CustoMac Pro build.

Thanks for the quick replying. You are absolutely right, I'm ashamed to admit I just didn't see the list at the bottom that lists up all the compatible mobos for a hackintosh. Since for the same price I can have a UD4H, I shall go with this one.

Need to find a good case now as I want to go for a gaming rig as well. At the moment, my winner is Cooler Master Elite 361.
