I need some advices on how to solve this little enigma.

Assuming I have a H55M-UD2H F11, i7 870, HD5770 running Snow Leopard on a single WD 1TB HD.
On an external 1TB HD I do frequent backups with TimeMachine.

What can I do to restore my SL install if I can't boot my computer from the internal HD?

I thought I might boot it with iBoot 2.7 and up, but how to load TimeMachine then and restore the entire HD content that resides in the external HD?

please help,
thanks ws

When you get to this screen on setup after a fresh install, select the Time Machine option, you'll need to run MultiBeast and install whatever that's required for your system.

Thanks beelzebozo for your straight reply

I thought it was possible to boot the computer with iBoot, doing a false attempt of fresh install, and just restoring directly from the external HD.
As you correctly pointed out, a fresh reinstall is compulsory.

This still sounds a little strange to me, because with latest build I did (Z77X-UD5H) after a system crash I succeeded booting with Unibeast and then restored my system via TimeMachine from an external WD 2.5 HD.

By the way I can't boot H55M-UD2H with unibeast Mavericks because both mouse and keyboard are unusable...
