I just have a clean installation of Catalina(10.15.3) on my Hackintosh. Now I have wake up issue.
After wake from long time sleep, I see the login screen, then I input password. Then the computer will restart. After it reboot, it will have a system crash report.
Code:
panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff801be288b7): "AppleHDAHDMI_DPDriver::setPowerState(0xffffff8041df8b00 : 0xffffff7f9e4c3730, 0 -> 1) timed out after 10191 ms"@/BuildRoot/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/xnu/xnu-6153.81.5/iokit/Kernel/IOServicePM.cpp:5302

Now I also have other two issues.

The first one is: 'USB Accessory Needs Power'. I use customized SSDT for USB mapping. It used to work good on 10.12.6 - my previous installation. After I install Catalina on the same machine, it has issue. I tried tick USB Inject and HighCurrent in config.plist. Nothing changed.

The second one is Bluetooth issue. I use AzureWave BCM94352HMB. I installed:
AirportBrcmFixup.kext;;Lilu.kext;;BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext;;BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext;;BrcmPatchRAM3.kext
these kexts in /L/E to make it work. The wifi is OK. But the Bluetooth doesn't work. Everything looks ok, but it doesn't work.
In order to fix the bluetooth issue, I install:
FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext;;FakePCIID.kext
these two kexts in /L/E. (based on a post in this Forum). Nothing changed.

Since my external hard drive dock has power adapter, I can use this machine with the USP power issue.
I don't have to use airdrop. So I can use this machine with the Bluetooth issue.
So I need to fix the restart issue after wake from sleep. The attached file is current EFI folder and IOREG copy.
(The patched DSDT files and SSDT files in patched folder are from my previous installation, it only has one issue, I cannot use Keyboard and mouse to wake it up from sleep. I only can use power button on front panel to wake it up. But it's OK, I can live with this.)
Hope someone can help.

Catalina has changed a lot of things. Most of us don’t use L/E for Kexts anymore we place them in Clover/Kexts/other.

have you tried this “beginners guide to USB ports”. It uses Hackintool to make a custom USBPorts.kext. You can easily identify and assign port values like internal for the Bluetooth which should fix that issue.

Hi, @Gigamaxx , the old SSDT-UIAC.aml I used is based on the guide - https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-creating-a-custom-ssdt-for-usbinjectall-kext.211311/
I just follow the Hackintool guide mentioned in your suggestion, but got a very confusing result.
If I use ioreg to test the port mapping, the result is like this:

Screen Shot 2020-04-24 at 5.23.40 PM.png

For example, the Mid down port in fact is a 3.0 port. But if I plug 2.0 device, it will be USB3.0 SSP1 on Hackintool UI. If I plug in 3.0 device, the same port will be USB3.0 SSP2. Hard to understand this.
And for the Left down port, in fact it is a 3.0 port. But if I plug in 2.0 device, it will be USB3.0 HS03. If I plug in 3.0 device, the same port will be USB2.0 HS02.
Cannot understand how does this tool work. The output in Hackintool is completely different from what I see in ioreg window. For now, I stuck here, don't know what to do.

Did you remove the SSDT from Sierra and use USBInjectallKext ?
It’s a little tricky but you must have the correct settings before creating the USBPorts kext and then Disable those after.

Hi @Gigamaxx , the two things mentioned in your reply make huge difference on my system.
First, I move all the hackintosh kexts to the EFI others folder, then the bluetooth is back. But It won't connect to any bluetooth device. Finally I find the reason. If I put kexts in /L/E, I need to use 'BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext'; but if I use EFI others folder, I need to use 'BrcmFirmwareData.kext'. After replace Repo with Data, my bluetooth works.
Second, I download Hackintool in latest version, then do the USB port discovery. The result is same with ioreg method result. In my last reply, I said the output of Hackintool method is confusing, that's because the Hackintool I use is too old. I put all the hackintosh tools in a USB drive, forget that they need to be updated. After I apply the USBPorts.kext, the 'USB Accessory Needs Power' issue disappears.
As for the restart issue, I find this page:
I find these code in my DSDT.aml:
Code:
                        "hda-gfx",
                        Buffer (0x0A)
                        {
                            "onboard-1"
                        }
replace it with the code below:
Code:
                    "No-hda-gfx",
                    Buffer (0x08)
                    {
                         0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00
                    }
Now the restart issue has gone.
Looks like everything is fine, except one new issue.
After I move all the hackintosh kexts into EFI others folder, I will see a delay before the OS booting up process.
I use verbose mode -v to boot up the system. Normally, when the OS boot up, I will see the motherboard screen first, then the Clover screen second, then the OS booting process begins, then I see the OS login screen.
But now, after the Clover screen disappear, I will see a black screen for about 15 seconds, then the booting process begin. It looks like the OS is hanging or scanning or waiting for something. And since it's black screen, I can not get any useful information. Do you have any idea about this new delay issue?
